Key Background:
Samsung introduced the Galaxy S25 Edge as a design showcase and proof of future-proof ruggedness. Thicker at 5.84 mm, the S25 Edge is the thinnest Samsung flagship phone to date. The world’s first smartphone to incorporate Corning’s Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, the most technologically advanced generation of strengthened glass that fills nano-crystalline ceramic particles into the glass matrix that provides toughness significantly without a thickness increase. It is the first Samsung device to use this new glass, which has been said to be made more resistant to scratches and drops. Galaxy S25 Edge internally uses the brand-new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which is only used in Galaxy phones.
It has 12GB RAM and comes in two variants: 256GB and 512GB. It has a 3,900mAh battery with up to 25W fast charging, trying to accomplish the most in thin and long. It is pre-installed with One UI 7 on Android 15 and has a packed and gorgeous user interface. S25 Edge front has gorgeous 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 3120×1440 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, which means buttery-smooth scrolling and razor-sharp photos. The camera module includes a 200MP main sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, solidifying Samsung’s move to claim leadership of the smartphone camera market.
It is no compromise when it comes to build because it is in its light body. The phone has a titanium alloy frame with classy looks but tough ruggedness. It comes in three Galaxy S25 Edge models—Titanium Icyblue, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Jetblack. It will go on sale in Europe for €1,249 for 256GB and €1,369 for 512GB upon release.
